Collaborative & Imaginative Healing

IS CREATIVE PSYCHOTHERAPY or coaching RIGHT FOR ME?

What roles have you been playing that no longer fit? Which stories about yourself still serve you—and which ones hold you back? If your anxiety had a shape or weight, how would it live in your body? What might the wisest, most compassionate part of you say to the part that feels scared or worn down?

In creative psychotherapy and coaching, these are some of the ways we might explore what’s unfolding in your life, your body, and your relationships. Our therapy work might blend conversation, imagination, and embodied awareness to support trauma processing and extend compassionate understanding toward yourself in a supportive, judgment-free space. Likewise, creative coaching might involve looking forward, identifying where you want to go, and how you want to authentically feel, and how you might challenge or re-imagine what stands in the way. Together, we’ll look at the stories you’ve carried about who you should be and begin gently rewriting them into ones that feel more grounded, spacious, and true.

This is not a place where you need to perform —just bring your curiosity and your real, human self.

WHAT KIND OF CLIENTS DO I WORK WITH?

I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, self-doubt, and the effects of both “big T” and “little t” trauma. I also work with creative folks looking to get ‘un-stuck’, and in the process, reconnect with the freest, most creative versions of themselves. Many of my clients feel caught between who they’ve been expected to be and who they’re becoming—often carrying perfectionism, overwhelm, or a sense of disconnection.

You don’t need to be an artist to benefit from creative therapy or coaching —just an openness to explore. I help clients tune into the body as a source of insight and change, blending creativity, conversation, and awareness to support healing and growth.

As a participant in Hollis’s psychodrama group, I was floored by Hollis’s incredible facilitation skills and capacity to create a safe and courageous environment. It was incredibly moving and powerful to witness and act in others’ stories as well as seeing my own stories played out. I would jump at any opportunity to work with Hollis again!
