Pay what you can: $60-$100 per session. Full 8-week session commitment required; group will continue on an ongoing basis after this

Who: ‘Creatively Being' is a small therapy group for women wanting support and clarity around life's stressors. Limited to 6 members.

What: A creative process group grounded in expressive and creative principles. We’ll use improvisation, storytelling, role play, and somatic awareness to explore the many roles we currently play and the ones waiting to emerge. This isn’t about performing or perfecting, but simply being.

Expect: reflection, laughter, vulnerability, creative processing, insight, and a supportive circle of women.

Hollis Witherspoon is a creative arts therapist with a private practice in Brooklyn and Upstate, NY. She grew up with her nose in a book and head in the clouds in rural Oregon and has pursued stories and nature (and stories in nature) ever since. Hollis loves hiking, baking, comedy, dancing, and working with groups of empowered women.

Isabel Shanahan is a creative arts therapist working in private practice in Brooklyn. She grew up barefoot in the high desert of New Mexico and has been falling in love with east coast nature for 20 years. She is passionate about making theater in communities, and engaging with the cultural and earthly elements wherever she finds herself.
